Autism New Jersey is pleased to welcome Kelley Widerman as its new Development Director. In this role, she will lead the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts, building meaningful relationships and strengthening support across its dedicated community.

“As a certified fundraising executive, Kelley’s experience and her genuine desire to build a sustainable and strategic funding model make her an exceptional addition to our team,” said Dr. Suzanne Buchanan, Autism New Jersey’s Executive Director. “Our organization was built on the power of connections, and Kelley’s talent for cultivating meaningful partnerships will help us deepen our impact across New Jersey.”

With nearly 15 years of development experience, Kelley is excited to advance a mission that is both personally meaningful and impactful. For many years, Kelley served as a volunteer with the Central Ohio Miracle League, an organization that runs a baseball league for athletes with mental and physical disabilities, both as a proud coach of the Red Sox team and on the planning committee for their milestone 10th Anniversary Celebration.

“The work Autism New Jersey is doing to promote autism-friendly practices at both the state and local levels is truly inspiring,” said Kelley. “I look forward to connecting with the generous supporters who make this work possible and to growing a community that continues to champion programs that make life better for families in my home state.”

Autism New Jersey is a nonprofit organization that connects families, professionals and educators to trusted autism resources, training and advocacy across New Jersey. We guide families with practical and emotional support, partner with communities to help them be more autism friendly, and raise statewide standards.
