Researchers at Columbia/ NYSPI, Cornell, and Institute for Basic Research are conducting an investigational study to evaluate whether propranolol, a medication prescribed for over 50 years for conditions such as high blood pressure, cardiac disorders, migraines, and anxiety, may help reduce challenging behaviors in individuals with autism.
Participants will complete 1-2 in-person visits, with all remaining visits conducted virtually. Study procedures include close medical and behavioral monitoring, and regular blood pressure and heart rate assessments.
