Promoting Autism-Friendly Practices at National Night Out

Autism New Jersey was honored to stand alongside our law enforcement partners at various National Night Out events held in August throughout the state. National Night Out events are examples of proactive law enforcement community outreach practices and provide a wonderful opportunity to engage with members of the autism community and foster a meaningful relationship with them.

Autism New Jersey was happy to participate at the Robbinsville Township, Evesham and the first-of-its-kind sensory-supportive and accessible “National Night Out for Everyone” event sponsored by Union County. All events were thoughtfully planned out and highlighted law enforcement’s commitment to community engagement. Autism New Jersey looks forward to our continued presence at future NNO events to promote inclusivity and an opportunity for everyone, including the autism community, to safely participate and engage with their local law enforcement partners.
