Ambassadors advocate, educate, and promote awareness and acceptance through various events and outreach activities across the state.

For 25 years, Autism New Jersey’s cornerstone autism awareness campaign, the Ambassador Program, has had a significant impact on increasing the understanding and acceptance of autism in New Jersey.

Autism acceptance should be personal to all of us, whether we are an autistic individual, a family member, teacher, or fellow community member, we all deserve to feel kindness and belong to our communities.

Each year, our ambassadors make autism acceptance personal by sharing stories, ideas, and inspiring acceptance-themed quotes with us and others!

New to the Ambassador Program?

Registration is FREE and opens in December. The program runs through June 30 with the most activity occurring in April, National Autism Acceptance Month.

Who should be an ambassador?

Anyone committed to promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum! We have family members, autistic individuals, schools, businesses and more.

How will the program assist you with your acceptance activities?

Tools, tips, supplies, and inspiration! Upon registering, participants are presented with a variety of printed materials available for order at no cost. These custom orders are shipped out each February to aid ambassadors with their awareness and acceptance activities in April, National Autism Acceptance Month.
