Neelay Patil Joins Autism New Jersey’s Board of Directors

Autism New Jersey is thrilled to welcome Neelay Patil to its Board of Directors, bringing expertise in healthcare strategy, innovation and growth that will help advance the organization’s efforts to improve access to services for the state’s autism community.

Currently, Mr. Patil is Senior Director of Product, Innovation, and Market Strategy at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Before joining Horizon, Mr. Patil worked in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group and the Bridgespan Group, where he advised nonprofit, corporate, and public sector organizations on strategic growth, program development, funding models, leadership, and partnerships.

Mr. Patil brings to the board valuable insight into the factors shaping access to medical care and service delivery, as well as experience using data-driven decision-making to guide long-term planning. His background in strategy and innovation will support Autism New Jersey in identifying new opportunities and partnerships as well as in expanding its impact statewide.

“Neelay’s ability to connect big-picture strategy with practical solutions will be a huge asset as Autism New Jersey continues to strengthen services, expand partnerships, and advocate for meaningful healthcare for children and adults with autism,” said Dr. Suzanne Buchanan, Executive Director of Autism New Jersey.

Mr. Patil graduated from Princeton University with highest honors and from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, where he studied as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar. He also holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the Kellogg School of Management. He lives in Jersey City with his wife and two children.
