Advancing Autism Initiatives with Your Support
December 11, 2024
Please consider showing your support by investing in our mission.
As we approach the end of the year, we are filled with gratitude for the compassion and support of our Autism New Jersey community. In 2025, we’ll celebrate 60 years of advocacy, education, and action—a milestone made possible by supporters like you.
This year, our Helpline has answered over 2,000 calls, we championed legislation to require criminal background checks for autism treatment providers, and we hosted our largest conference yet, welcoming nearly 1,500 attendees—each a remarkable step toward a brighter future for individuals with autism and their families.
ENHANCING SAFETY
Our Law Enforcement Initiative is taking a municipal, county, and statewide approach to promote the use of autism-friendly practices to foster safer and more positive interactions between the autism and law enforcement communities.
ADVANCING HEALTHCARE
Our statewide Advancing Healthcare Initiative has educated professionals, gathered family experiences, and promoted collaboration to improve access to compassionate care.
SUPPORTING CAREGIVERS
We now offer free health and wellness coaching to help caregivers prioritize self-care and connect with others.
There remains much work to be done
and we need your help.
Each of these efforts is powered by the belief that real change starts with bold vision and collective action. Your support will help us level up as an organization and make an even greater impact in our 60th year.
