Autism New Jersey’s 2018 Transition Conference Offered Critical Help for Families Entering the Adult Service System
On February 26, Autism New Jersey hosted a sold-out crowd of 450 caregivers and professionals at the 2018 Transition Conference in Woodbridge, NJ. The conference offered specialized and up-to-date information to assist the careful planning needed to navigate the changes from school to the adult service system.
“As so many know first hand, the transition students face as one’s school entitlement ends can be a challenging time for all involved,” observed Autism New Jersey Executive Director Suzanne Buchanan during her opening remarks. “Through this remarkable conference, we aim to clear a path into the adult service system and to connect you to the information and resources you need.”
The conference achieved just that.
