Charity Golf Invitational Raises Nearly $200,000
September 21, 2021
On Monday, September 13th, Autism New Jersey hosted its 23rd annual golf outing, with the goal of bringing together families, friends, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for the autism community. Mission accomplished! More than 250 golfers came out to play on three courses at the prestigious Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club and raised close to $200,000 for Autism New Jersey.
After a day on the greens, golfers returned to cocktails, a cigar rolling presentation, courtesy of the Aquino Family Foundation, and a full gourmet dinner buffet including Fiddler’s famous pizza truck! The top four foursomes on each course received fantastic prizes. Our tournament winners, a foursome from first-time attendees from Columbia Filters, will be invited to play in the Invitational National Finals at Streamsong Resort, March 30-April 3, 2022. An auction, 50/50 and raffle prizes rounded out the night.

“Our Annual Charity Golf Outing and the committee behind it are the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. We are grateful for their hard work and for the support of all our sponsors, golfers, volunteers and supporters,” noted Autism New Jersey Executive Director Dr. Suzanne Buchanan.
The funds raised from this event will go a long way to help Autism New Jersey achieve its mission on behalf of the autism community.
“We continue to work hard to connect families and professionals with resources and support to meet challenges that have been intensified by the pandemic,” Dr. Buchanan added. “The proceeds from this year’s golf outing will help us sustain this important work and let us continue to fulfill our mission of helping individuals with autism enhance their resilience, abilities, and quality of life.”
