Latino Connection Session
At Autism New Jersey, we are committed to creating spaces where autistic individuals, families, and caregivers from all backgrounds feel seen, valued, and supported. We recognize that every family’s journey is unique and shaped by their culture, language, and lived experiences. Our Latino Community Connection Sessions provide opportunities to connect, share experiences, access resources, and build community in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment. We welcome you to join us for our Latino Connection Sessions to learn from one another and strengthen relationships that celebrate the diversity of the autism community.
En Autism New Jersey, estamos comprometidos a crear espacios donde las personas autistas, sus familias y sus cuidadores provenientes de diversos entornos, se sientan vistos, valorados y apoyados. Reconocemos que la trayectoria de cada familia es única y está marcada por su cultura, su idioma y sus experiencias de vida. Nuestras sesiones de conexión para la comunidad latina ofrecen oportunidades para conectar, compartir experiencias, acceder a recursos y fortalecer la comunidad en un entorno inclusivo y culturalmente sensible. Les invitamos a participar en estas sesiones Latino para aprender unos de otros y fortalecer las relaciones que celebren la diversidad de la comunidad del autismo.
Wellness can mean many different things and shift over time. Finding ways to connect with others, build relationships, and share ideas can be a great source of support and encouragement.
Please join our Community Engagement Coordinator, Leslie Ramirez, for a virtual support group that focuses on topics that celebrates Latino cultures and experiences.

Leslie Ramirez is the Community Engagement Coordinator at Autism New Jersey, where she serves as a liaison between the organization and communities statewide, especially for individuals and families who are underserved due to income, race, and language barriers.
