The autism community has always faced great challenges. The pandemic made it worse. The isolation took a toll, especially on the most vulnerable among us.

Through our core services, we’ve offered direction and inspired resilience.

  • Our 800.4.AUTISM Helpline’s call volume increased significantly, with more than 2,000 calls. We’ve supported many families through complex situations wrought by the pandemic and exacerbated by unmet behavioral, emotional, and educational needs.
  • We took the lessons learned from helping hundreds get vaccinated and launched a new initiative to advance systemic changes in healthcare to improve outcomes.
  • We focused on the importance of safe communities by helping families and law enforcement work together to address the needs of those with autism.

There remains much work to be done and we need your help.

Now we’re calling on you!

Autism New Jersey’s keen understanding of the complex needs of those with autism, as well as our ability to identify service gaps and offer solutions, sets us apart.
