Research Study: Understanding What Helps Neurodivergent People Thrive

May 09, 2025

Researchers at Karolinska Institutet are leading an international study to understand what helps neurodivergent people — like those with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities — live good and fulfilling lives. The project looks at what supports mental health, wellbeing, and the ability to do the things that matter to each person. The goal is to find out what really helps neurodivergent individuals thrive, so better supports and services can be developed for a happier, more successful life.

Participation Requirements

  • You are neurodivergent (e.g., have been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, were born prematurely, or have another condition that usually affects daily life)
  • OR are a family member/loved one of a neurodivergent person
