Researchers from California Northstate University invites parents and caregivers of autistic individuals aged 10–22 who use speech aids (AAC) to participate in a brief online survey.
The research examines how factors such as type of speech aid, professional support, frequency of use, environments, and behavioral concerns influence perceived effectiveness, communication outcomes, and barriers associated with AAC interventions. After data collection, responses will be anonymized, randomized, and analyzed using multiple regression techniques to identify patterns in AAC effectiveness.
