The conference will be held in-person at the Harrah’s Atlantic City Waterfront Conference Center located at 777 Harrah’s Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

How many people usually attend?
Last year’s in-person conference attendance was a return to pre-pandemic levels with over 1,300 attendees. Even during the pandemic, the conference continued to see attendance exceeding 1,100 attendees.
Who typically attends?
Our audience includes educational and human service professionals, family members of children and adults with autism, and self-advocates. Professional attendees include special and general education teachers, direct support professionals, behavior analysts, psychologists, social workers, and speech & language pathologists.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes, if you are an individual with autism or a parent/caregiver of an individual with autism. The Anthony E. Meyer Conference Scholarship Fund is available to supplement what you can pay (if anything). Funds are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the fund only covers registration, not travel, dinner, or hotels. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please complete the application>>

Venue and Accommodations
Are there hotel discounts?
Book online at Harrah’s Resort using the code “SH10AU3” or call 888.516.2215 and request the Autism New Jersey Conference rate. Our group rate is $99 per night. All rooms in the block will be in the Waterfront Tower closest to the conference center.
Who can I speak with about accommodations I may require to be able to attend the conference?
If you require any specific accommodations to participate in the conference or have dietary restrictions, please contact conference@autismnj.org no later than Monday October 2, 2023.
Do you validate parking at the conference center?
Unfortunately, we are not able to do so. However, if you stay at Harrah’s through our conference rate, Waterfront Tower rooms include a $5 parking voucher for one (1) vehicle per night. Approximate pricing is $10/day for self-parking and $15/day for valet.
Are meals included with registration?
Yes, a continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be available to each registrant each day.
Is early check-in available for the conference?
If you arrive on Wednesday between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, check in then and avoid the morning lines! Please note: conference attendee check-in will close promptly at 6:00 pm.

How do I register for the conference?

What is the registration deadline?
Online registration will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 13th. After that, only onsite registrations will be accepted. Please allow extra time to register on site.
Can I register online with a purchase order?
Yes, you can do so through our check and purchase order registration form. A valid purchase order as well as names and email addresses for all attendees are required to submit, so be sure that you have this information ready before starting the form.
Can I register multiple people at once?
Yes, the registration form can accommodate registering up to ten (10) people at once.
I think my employer will pay for my registration. Can you bill me?
No, but we can provide a receipt that you can submit to your employer for reimbursement.
I am a current Autism New Jersey Member, or my employer is a current Autism New Jersey Organization Member. Can I register online at the member rate?
Yes, Silver and Gold individual members as well as organization member designated contacts will receive an email with a code to register at the member rate. If you are a current member and have not received this email, please contact conference@autismnj.org. If you are unsure of your or your organization’s membership status, please contact membership@autismnj.org.

Can my registration be refunded ?
Before October 2nd, yes. Refunds will be provided for written requests to conference@autismnj.org. After October 2nd, only substitutions for those who qualify at the same rate will be accepted.
Conference Platform App – Whova
What is the online conference platform?
“Whova” is our online conference platform. Watch Whova’s How To Guide to help you make the most of your experience. It can be used the month leading up to and during both the in-person days.
Do I need a specific web app on my device to participate?
Just Whova! Whova can be viewed on any desktop, laptop, or mobile device. Whova’s mobile app runs both on Android and iPhone. Search “Whova” in the App Store on your iPhone or in Google Play on your Android phone.
Can I customize my own workshop schedule?
Yes, you can use the agenda to browse workshop descriptions and speaker information. You are able to filter by tracks and add preferred workshops to your schedule to start building your custom conference experience based on your unique needs and priorities.

CEUs
What is the cost for CEUs
There is no additional charge to collect CEUs.
Which CEU types are offered?
The 41st Annual Conference will be providing in-person CEUs for BACB, NASW, ASHA, and APA. We will be using the CEUHelper app for checking in and out of the in-person workshops.
Sponsorship & Advertising
Where can I find information on sponsorship and advertising?
Sponsorship and advertising marketing options are now available! Our options cover a variety of price points and benefits. Having your logo (or more) in our e-blasts, website, event platform, and social media is a powerful way to draw attention to your organization!
Are there qualifications for approval to sponsor or advertise?

Networking
Are there networking opportunities?
Yes, there are many networking opportunities during both the in-person conference and through the Whova platform. The layout and schedule of our in-person event gives ample time for attendees to browse the booths, network, and exchange information. Whova offers “ice breakers” to connect with attendees, search for those with similar interests, and engage on community boards.
